Southside Behavioral Health Invites Young Adults to Share Their Voices Through Virginia Young Adult Survey

BRUNSWICK, MECKLENBURG, & HALIFAX, VIRGINIA — Southside Behavioral Health is inviting Virginia residents ages 18 to 25 to participate in the Virginia Young Adult Survey, a statewide effort focused on substance use and mental health among young adults.

“We want to hear directly from young adults about their experiences and perspectives,” said Kenan Tyner-Smith, Prevention Director at Southside Behavioral Health. “Your input will help us create programs and resources that better support the health and wellness of our community.”

The anonymous survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Young adults who participate locally will receive a $20 gift card as a thank-you for their time.

The survey was developed in partnership with the Virginia Office of Behavioral Health and Wellness (OBHW) within the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and OMNI Institute, a nonprofit research organization working with Community Services Boards across Virginia.

How to participate: Text Virginia to 844-484-7601 for the survey link.
