    On behalf of the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce, I would like to welcome you to our community. Whether you’re visiting for the day, relocating to the area, or you’re already a resident of our thriving community, Halifax County is an outstanding place to live, work, and grow a business. Our rich history dates back to 1752, and the Chamber was established in 1955 to advocate for and support the prosperity of Halifax County and area businesses.

    At the Halifax County Chamber, you can meet the premier business leaders in the county and have access to a multitude of opportunities to network, further your career, and stay up to date on community and industry news. As the voice of business for Halifax County, the Chamber strives to understand the legislative issues important to our members. The key to this effort is building and maintaining strong relationships with our local, state, and federal elected officials.

  • Virginia Cantaloupe Festival

    The 40th Annual Virginia Cantaloupe Festival scheduled for Friday, July 24, 2020 has been cancelled. In lieu of the festival, the Chamber has made plans to honor the tradition with a Virginia Cantaloupe Celebration and offer Cantaloupe Party Packs to the public.
