    South Boston, VA — Recovering Hands is proud to announce its Second Annual Walk for Recovery Hall, a community-centered fundraising event designed to raise awareness, support women in recovery, and help save lives.

    The walk will take place at 196 Railroad Ave, South Boston, VA 24592, bringing together community members, supporters, and advocates who believe in the power of recovery and second chances.

    This 5K Walk for Recovery Hall is more than just an event—it’s a movement. Every step taken and every registration brings Recovering Hands closer to its mission of providing safe, supportive, and life-changing residential recovery services for women.

    “Every woman deserves a chance to heal, rebuild, and rediscover her purpose,” said Kim Adams, Founder of Recovering Hands. “This walk is a way for our community to stand together and say—you are not alone.

      Proceeds from the event will directly support Recovering Hands’ mission to remove financial barriers and provide women with access to a structured, peer-supported recovery environment rooted in compassion and real-life skill building.

      Recovering Hands is a consumer-operated nonprofit providing residential extended-care for women recovering from substance use. Through a trauma-informed, peer-supported model, the organization helps women rebuild their lives with dignity, structure, and lasting support.
