    About Us

TPA has a rich history of helping communities through travel safety issues, child safety programs and various community service projects. These activities are supported through the volunteer efforts of our members as well as through joint participation of other organizations.
Why join The Travelers Protective Association of America? We’re a Fraternal, Nonprofit, Civic-Minded Benefit Society ready to welcome you into our family. As a TPA member, you’ll gain access to a variety of programs and discounts in addition to the supplemental insurance benefits of your membership. We’ve created relationships with organizations like AAA and Drury Hotels to ensure you receive the most out of your TPA membership.

In addition to the perks of TPA membership, you’ll also enjoy the opportunity to contribute to our mission of safeguarding the journey for members of your local community. A few ways we give back are through child safety programs and fundraising for our Scholarship Trust for the Hearing Impaired.

Events like these where we spend time together improving our communities are one of the things our members enjoy the most. In fact, we hear time and time again from our members that they appreciate the chance to network and form long-lasting friendships with other like-minded individuals.

Members say they joined TPA because:
They want additional insurance and accident benefits
They feel a call to be more involved in the local community
They need to fulfill their sense of “civic pride”
They have met an individual that TPA helped, and they want to be involved too
