    The Halifax County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Membership Coordinator. The role is focused on the growth and satisfaction of the Chamber’s membership base. The position is responsible for recruiting new members while retaining existing ones, implementing membership strategies, and participating in networking events that foster professional relationships and community engagement. This position also oversees administrative functions of the Chamber including office management, recordkeeping, event and administrative support, and database management.
     
    Ideal Candidate:
    • Someone who thrives in a dynamic, engaging environment and has a background in office settings.
    • You should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are a must, along with a strong work ethic.

    • A full-time position with a schedule that's mostly 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional after hours events.
