    Programming and Events Coordinator
    Full-Time | The Prizery (SVHEF)
    Position Summary
    The Programming and Events Coordinator oversees arts education programming, public events, facility rentals, and daily office operations at The Prizery. This role connects education, arts, community partnerships, and front-of-house operations to ensure high-quality, inclusive programming and exceptional guest experiences that support The Prizery’s mission to enrich lives through the arts.

    Key Responsibilities
    Events, Rentals & Operations
    • Coordinate performances, special events, and facility rentals, including contracts, logistics, and staffing.
    • Manage hospitality needs for performing artists.
    • Ensure smooth front-of-house operations and positive guest relations.
      
    Office & Administrative Support
    • Oversee daily office operations and administrative systems.
    • Provide support to the Executive Director, including scheduling and donor meeting coordination.
    • Maintain databases, records, and proper cash-handling practices.
    • Serve as staff liaison to volunteers.
    Marketing & Community Engagement
    • Support marketing and outreach efforts across print, digital, and social media.
    • Represent The Prizery at community events and meetings.
    • Track attendance, demographics, and program outcomes for reporting.
    Arts & Education Programs
    • Plan and manage arts education programs for Pre-K, youth, adults, alternative education students, and individuals with disabilities.
    • Coordinate summer camps, workshops, classes, and lecture series.
    • Recruit and manage teaching artists and instructors.
    • Build partnerships with schools, community organizations, and local artists.
     

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in arts administration, education, nonprofit management, or related field.
    • 3+ years’ experience in arts programming, event coordination, or administrative management.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience working with diverse populations.
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
