Scholarship Details:

• Award Amount: The selected recipient will be awarded a scholarship in the amount of [$1,500], intended to cover educational expenses.
• Eligibility: This scholarship is open to high school seniors residing in Halifax County who are committed to majoring in business or a related field at an accredited college or university or have a strong desire to return to Halifax County upon graduation.
• Application Requirements:
  • A completed application form.
  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader.
  • A personal essay (500-1000 words) discussing your aspirations in your field and how you plan to contribute to your community.
  • (Optional) Evidence of extracurricular involvement, particularly in activities related to business or community service.

Selection Criteria:

Selection will be based on  leadership qualities, community involvement, and the ability to convey a clear and compelling vision for your future, aligning with the principles and dedication exhibited by Nancy Pool.
