The Southern Virginia Higher Education Center (SVHEC) and Southside Virginia Community College (SVCC) recently announced a partnership agreement to expand access to training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
 
Through the agreement, SVHEC’s HVAC program will be offered in partnership with SVCC, giving students the opportunity to enroll in the program as either credit or non-credit students. Students who enroll for credit will complete their training in South Boston, VA, earn college credits and may be eligible for federal financial aid.

By working together, we are creating more pathways for our students to gain industry credentials, and to develop the skills that they need for successful careers in the skilled trades.”
