The Process/Extraction Technician is responsible for in process inspections of hemp, extraction and evaporation of solvents. This position must adhere to all Company safety policies and procedures in addition to state regulations for record keeping, inventory, and waste disposal.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate extraction machines to extract hemp.
• Supervise, sort and grade hemp prior to extraction.
• Transfer hemp extracts for further post-extraction activated (e.g. solvent evaporation and post processing)
• Maintain documentation & record keeping
• Follow cGMP guidelines
• Perform all technical procedures adhering to the operation, technical, and quality control policies and guidelines.
• Maintaining, adjusting and repairing extraction equipment.
• Categorization and retaining of waste in accordance with established guidelines.
• Perform all duties in compliance with safety and OSHA regulations; including proper use of PPE.
• Follow SOPs and make suggestions for revisions.
• Proper use of scales for product and supply inventory tracking.
• Other responsibilities will include record keeping, accurate data logging, routine facility maintenance, and equipment maintenance.
• All members of the team are expected to take part in the overall workflow, organization, and functionality of the facility with proper use of time management and an ability to multitask.
• Ability to obtain forklift license and operate forklift to load materials in a safe manner
• Adhere to all safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Warehouse/Forklift experience
• Experience working in a cGMP environment
• Data collection and entry with attention to detail
• Understanding of Safety, 6S, and be willing to learn through provided training.
• Ability to use a computerized inventory management system
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and lead others to work as a team

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years manufacturing experience
• Ability to work on Day shift

The open position scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm

PAY RANGE: $17-$20 (hourly)
