    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the

    development and execution of rural planning projects, utilizing various software tools to create effective plans and designs such as Arc

    GIS. This position requires strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and a passion for enhancing community development

    through thoughtful planning.
     

    Responsibilities:

    Develop comprehensive plans that align with community needs and regulatory requirements.

    Utilize software tools such as Arc GIS, Canva, Chat GPT, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed designs and visualizations.

    Conduct data collection and analysis to inform planning decisions and project proposals.

    Prepare reports and presentations that effectively communicate project findings to stakeholders.

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project scheduling and management to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

    Engage in research related to environmental law, economic development, transportation planning, and construction contracts.

    Utilize GIS software including ArcView and ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping planning projects.

    Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
     

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.

    Proficiency in CAD drafting techniques with experience in Adobe Creative Suite, ArcView, and ArcGIS.

    Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information effectively.

    Excellent research capabilities with a focus on urban planning principles and practices.

    Familiarity with environmental law and regulations as they pertain to planning projects.

    Proven experience in project management with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    Strong written communication skills for report writing and documentation purposes.

    Job Type: Full-time
     

    Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
