HELP WANTED – FULL-TIME DEPUTY TREASURER

Halifax County is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Treasurer. Applicants must have a high school diploma, valid Virginia driver’s license, and prior office experience. Strong computer skills, cash handling, customer service experience, and basic knowledge of accounting and office procedures are required.
 
An Associate’s degree in Business or a related field and Microsoft Office Specialist certification are preferred but not required.
 
Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical. Salary based on qualifications and experience.
