Our young professionals network is designed to recruit and retain young professionals to Halifax County by offering professional development, social, and leadership opportunities.

HYPE works off of three pillars.
Community Service: giving back to our community through our HYPE Scholarship, community clean up, and Christmas donations.
Networking: connecting with other young professionals through member meetings, HYPE events, and What's Happening Halifax.
Mentorship: engaging the next generation of young professionals through the HCHS Personal Development and Business Classes, the HYPE career connect workshop, and a workforce pipeline.

HYPE annually awards one deserving Halifax County High School student a scholarship towards furthering their education. Below are the 2021, 2022, and 2023 HYPE Scholarship winners.
