HCSO CARES — THE FUN ISN’T OVER! 

Although Mother Nature cut our National Night Out short, we’re not going to let a little rain stop us from bringing our community together!

Please join the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office and Halifax County First Responder Agencies on Wednesday, August 26, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Support Center, 5310 Halifax Road, Halifax.

We will have safety and informational programs at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, covering senior safety awareness, identity theft and scam awareness, child identification ID kits, Halifax County CareLine, Project Lifesaver, and more.

Feed Halifax will be joining us as we continue helping our neighbors in need. Bring a non-perishable food item and you’ll be entered into our special drawings for $25 gift cards. Every can counts and every donation helps!

We’re also pleased to have the American Red Cross providing valuable information and community resources, Sentara providing health screenings, and Tri-County Community Action joining us with additional community information and resources.

We’ll have bicycles, car seats, numerous gift cards and other prizes to give away. There is no donation required to enter the drawings for the bicycles, car seats and other National Night Out prizes.

If you gave your ticket to a first responder or volunteer at our National Night Out event before the rain ended the evening early, your ticket will automatically be entered in the drawings. But please feel free to stop by and see us—you can get another chance to win a bicycle, car seat or another great prize!

Light refreshments will be provided by Hitachi, Food Lion and Liberty Mini Mart.

Prize drawings will be held at 6:30 PM, and you do not have to be present to win. Winners will be notified.

There is NO CHARGE to attend, and EVERYONE is welcome!

Come bring a can or two and donate to Feed Halifax a help a neighbor, and you may just win a prize!
