Route: The Happy Feet 5K (3.1 miles) will start at the Tuck Dillard Stadium at the Middle School, loop around the track, proceed via access road to the High School, around the student parking lot, across from Walmart, loop around the teacher’s parking lot, proceed back to Middle School, looping Tish Waller Stadium track and proceeding around the Middle School passing the bus maintenance shop, ending back at the Dillard Stadium to the Finish Line celebration where you will receive your finisher medal/healthy snacks.

County officials will be on hand to ensure a healthy and happy family fun event. The media will be on hand to cover this fun family event that is planned with county officials to ensure it is safely organized.
The Halifax County Happy Feet 5K Run/Walk is an annual fitness event to promote healthy lifestyles in Halifax County. Proceeds go toward student programs. Happy Feet was established to continue the work of Virginia Maude Dixon Hightower who advocated goodwill for all Halifax County residents! Happy Feet is organized by the Happy Feet Run for Health and Fitness, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
