About the Chamber

The Halifax County Chamber of Commerce is a member driven business organization.  It unites hundreds of business and professional firms, thus creating a unique central agency working to improve business and build a better community. The Chamber membership includes business from sole proprietors to companies with over 415 members.

Most importantly, the Chamber is people. People who realize that through the Chamber they can accomplish collectively what no one of them can do individually. The strength of the Chamber lies in attracting the greatest number of members and creating a pool of resources from which the organization can draw energy, ideas and finances.

The vision of the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce is to be a proactive business organization with an influential voice dedicated to economic success and quality of life.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce is to serve the interest of its members by providing products, programs and services that are of direct benefit to the members, and by influencing issues that affect the economic vitality of our community.

Strategic Plan

The initiatives outlined in this Business Plan will move the Chamber's Strategic Plan forward and allow this Chamber to carry out its Vision and Mission for our members and community.  Programs, products and services are listed along with their desired outcomes.
