    AmeriStaff, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Digital Print Operator to fill an opening with a flag manufacturing company located in South Boston, VA. The ideal candidate should have experience reading and applying measurements in metric and standard.

    Benefits of the Digital Print Operator:

    • Monday-Friday.
    • 7:00am-3:00pm.
    • $13.00/hour.

    Requirements of the Digital Print Operator:

    • Ability to read and apply measures in both metric and standard to 1/16.
    • Able to work with the Print Operator machine and other employees.
    • Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages.
    • Speak, read, and write English fluently.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Attention to details.
    • Strong team player with high performance objectives.
    • Ability to keep accurate written records.
    • Commitment to company values and goals.
    • Required to stand and walk.
    • Full manual dexterity to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
    • Reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel.
    • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
    • Demonstrate the ability to load fabric rolls.
    • Specific vision abilities required – close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time; dust; heat; cold; odors; humidity.

    Responsibilities of the Digital Print Operator:

    • Read and interpret setup and printing information from the factory order and/or CPQ.
    • Read and follow schedule of items to be printed.
    • Locate and transport fabric to machine(s) for job to be printed.
    • Set up and operate machine(s) to produce high quality printing, continuously checking for defects.
    • Perform periodic maintenance on machine(s) as required.
    • Work closely and cooperatively with members of other departments to solve quality and/or productivity issues and ensure a quality product is delivered on time.
    • Keep the work area clean and free from debris, trash and clutter.
    • Keep accurate productivity/quality records.
    • Work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures and requirements.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
