APPLICATION

Prosecuting wide range of misdemeanors and felonies in all courts, primarily in GDC and CC. Both entry level applicants and seasoned attorneys are welcome. The office emphasizes vertical prosecution, training opportunities, professional development, and a congenial, collaborative environment. All attorneys typically attend spring and summer conferences and are invited encouraged to attend additional specialized CASC programs annually. Attorneys have opportunities to participate meaningfully in the prosecution of major felony cases from entry level. We are a busy medium-sized office, with six attorneys and five support staff. We are located in a rural setting with a low cost of living and a low volume of vehicular traffic, situated within easy driving distance from Raleigh-Durham, NC; Greensboro, NC; Danville, VA; and Lynchburg, VA. Minimum requirements: Positive attitude and team-oriented; J. D. from established law school; active membership in the Virginia Bar or awaiting Virginia Bar results.
