    Job Description
    The Catering Manager is responsible to supervise catering staff and work with customers and meeting planners, planning and executing each event. They are responsible for running the day-to-day operations and services for all catered events. Additionally the CM is responsible for monitoring the quality and presentation of the food, room set up, training and consistent performance from the staff. The most important part of the job is achieving good quality within a budget and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
    • Menu planning with the customer and chef
    • Detailing each event within Food and Beverage as well as other departments.
    • Hiring, training, supervising and motivating permanent and temporary staff
    • Ensuring correct room set, appropriate decorations, food presentation and service provided.
    • Be the onsite primary contact for each meeting planner
    • Ensure quality and performance standards are met.
