    Customer Service Representative
     Hours: M-F, Rotating 7am-4pm and 10am-7pm
    Rogers Heating & Cooling is looking to add a dynamic Customer Service Representative to our growing team located in South Boston, Va.  The Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact for our customers and the ideal candidate will be a friendly customer focused individual.  The primary goal of the Customer Service Representative will be to cheerfully answer the telephone and direct customers, potential customers, suppliers and others to the proper person; as well as book service/install calls.
    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Representing Rogers in a professional and dignified manner at all time
    • Field calls and direct to appropriate individual
    • Check leads each morning and provide information to Dispatcher, Comfort Advisor, or others as needed
    • Completing warranty registration from paperwork provided by dispatcher
    • Completing installation packets
    • Mailing approved invoices
    • Completing Happy Calls on a regular basis – inform Dispatcher if we need to go back
    • Informing manager of any customer complaints
    • Calling customers each day to remind them of upcoming service or installation by looking at schedule each day
    • Selling Comfort Club Memberships
    • Turning in list of Comfort Club Memberships sold each week
    • Managing customer list spreadsheet to ensure all information is entered correctly
    • Writing and mailing customer anniversary notes each month
    • Processing returned customer surveys
    • Providing manager weekly reports on number of calls, type, and referrals
    • Providing daily report on quotes that need to be completed
    • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
    • Processing payments and keep up with petty cash drawer
    • Ordering office supplies
    • Acting as backup to Dispatcher when they are unavailable or out of office
    • Attending in person and online training sessions throughout year
    • Keeping office and work area organized
    • Copying, typing, emailing and faxing
    • Data entry in company software and Microsoft Office programs
    • Helping with marketing activities as needed
    • Other tasks as assigned
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to multitask
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Ability to handle difficult customers professionally
    • Ability to represent Rogers Heating & Cooling in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff and the general public
    • Detail oriented and highly organized
    • Ability to accurately enter data into computer
    • Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
