Longwood University's ITTIP Celebrates Computer Science Education Week Open House.
Why Computer Science? Computing touches everyone's daily lives.
By 2018, current government projections show that more than 800,000 high-end computing jobs will be created in the economy, making it one of the fastest growing occupational fields.
By 2020, one out of every two STEM jobs will be in computing.
Computing and mathematics is one of the top 10 fastest growing major occupational groups between 2010-2020.
This event is open to the public. We encourage community members, leaders, educators, parents and students to attend.
