Board of Supervisors Meeting
The Virginia Department of Transportation and the Halifax County Board of Supervisors will conduct a joint public hearing in the Mary Bethune Office Complex. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments on the proposed Secondary Six-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2020 through 2025 in Halifax County and on the Secondary System Construction Budget for Fiscal Year 2020.
All projects in the Secondary Six-Year Plan that are eligible for federal funds will be included in the Statewise Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which documents how Virginia will obligate federal transportation funds.
