DESCRIPTION:The Merchants Association of Gretna will sponsor the 2016 Strawberry & Wine Festival Saturday\, May 14.\n\n \n\nThe fourth annual event will be held from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on the grounds of the old Galveston Mills property at 405 Main Street in Gretna. (Please note new location this year.)\n\n \n\nThe festival will feature wine tastings from eight wineries: Rebec Winery\, The Homeplace Vineyard\, Tomahawk Mill Winery\, White Oak Mountain Meadery\, DeVault Vineyards\, Greenwood Winery\, Peaks of Otter Winery\, and Sans Soucy Vineyards.\n\n \n\nMotley's Strawberry Farm will sell fresh strawberries and strawberry shortcake. \n\n \n\nThe Rock and Roll Diner and other food vendors will offer hot dogs\, hamburgers\, and barbecue.\n\n \n\nLocal favorite Diamondback along with the Stone Canyon Band from Roanoke will provide entertainment.\n\n \n\nThe merchants association will sell wine yokes (glass holders)\, t-shirts\, and totes. \n\n \n\nVendors will offer custom-made wine racks\, grapevine wreaths\, jewelry\, painted glass\, wind chimes\, and other items.
